Blessings of Wildfires

Do you or someone you know struggle with insecurity, rejection, financial disaster, grief, or marriage challenges? Or do you sometimes feel hopeless?

This is how it all started…

My name is Jean Anderson

My passion is writing articles, poetry and leading study groups. Though I’ve written poetry for almost  60 years, and graduating from the Long Ridge Writers Group, I finally put my insecurity and excuses behind me and became the author of my first book entitled ‘BLESSINGS OF WILDFIRES’

My goal is to walk alongside others who struggle with insecurity, rejection, parenting, marital breakdown, financial disaster, grief, etc. and to inspire hope when they feel hopeless.

One of my greatest achievements was to learn to trust God to walk with me after losing my spouse of 50 years and facing insurmountable medical challenges for the next five years. I share these struggles in my book.

It is my desire to share my story of victory over insurmountable odds and to let others know there is hope when we allow God to take us through the refiner’s fire and to make us into His image.

My background includes: teaching, leadership, student at Tyndale College, assistant leader in grief counselling, a home missionary for 10 years.

If you would like me to share at your church group or other small groups, please contact me on Facebook Messenger under @jean.mcdonaldanderson or email at [email protected].

"Through the fire, refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested." - Zechariah 13:9

Embark on a compelling journey of faith and resilience with Jean Anderson in “Blessings of Wildfires.” Inspired by the profound words of Zechariah 13:9, this book invites you into the depths of personal wildfires, where faith is tested, refined, and ultimately triumphs.

Jean courageously shares her life’s wildfires – the tumultuous valleys and challenging moments that shook the very foundation of her being. She reveals how God walked with her through the refining fires, molding her character and shaping her into His image.

Have you ever felt your prayers bouncing back, wondering where God is in your time of need? Jean understands. She writes about moments of perceived silence, reassuring readers that, just like her, you are not alone. Unveiling the beauty in the refining process, she shares how God, though seemingly silent, was actively working, molding, and refining her.

Through trials and tribulations, Jean emerges as a testament to God’s unwavering presence and transformative grace. Her story serves as a beacon of hope for those who find themselves amid life’s wildfires.

Discover the purity that emerges after the fire. Life, like gold, is refined through heat, and Jean’s journey exemplifies the beauty of God’s craftsmanship. The refiner’s clear reflection in liquid gold mirrors the transformation God orchestrates in our lives.

This book also includes Jean’s poignant poems, a testament to the profound impact of her journey. “Blessings of Wildfires” is not just a memoir; it’s a source of encouragement, a beacon of light for those navigating their unique paths. God’s love shines through every page, ministering to readers wherever they are in their journey.

Are you ready to be inspired, encouraged, and uplifted? “Blessings of Wildfires” invites you to witness the beauty that emerges when faith meets fire. God loves you, and through this book, you’ll discover the blessings that arise from life’s most challenging moments.
